• What do I need to prepare before the photo session?
Once you have placed your booking with me, I will send a confirmation email with your booking date and a prep guide which includes what the session entails, what to wear and where to come.
• What sort of service can we expect from you?
I deliver a bespoke service to each individual client session. I want you to enjoy the whole experience (and previous clients who have left a testimonial on this website will attest to that!) and hopefully you'll come back year after year!

• When do I need to book a Newborn Session with you?
Clients normally book their session weeks in advance to ensure I have availability around their due date.
I schedule the newborn session around 10-14 days of baby arriving.
If in the event that you've already had baby and wish to book, please do still contact me, as I sometimes have a cancellation or can get you in.
I'm not restricted on age with newborns, and photograph babies of all ages. Clients do however like to get their baby's in when they are a few days old, whilst they are still tiny and new!
• I'm worried that my kids might misbehave during the session, what if they are act unruly?!
I think this is the most worrying concern for parents booking their session, but you need not to! I felt the same way when I had my family photographed!
I schedule sessions that parents who still have children that nap doesn't interfere with those times, and a level of entertainment during the session doesn't go amiss, which helps! Plus a little bribery works. But I detail all of that in the prep guide.
• Where will the photo session take place?
Sessions take place in my studio, which is warm, cosy and quiet for newborn sessions, which houses a studio wardrobe for maternity clients, and has lots of headbands, bonnets, backdrops to use for newborn and sitter sessions.
In the summer months, I do maternity and family sessions out on location towards the later evening to get that best light!
• How many photographs will you take during the session?
I take an unlimited amount during a session, but I carefully select approx. 30 (sometimes more) of the best images taken, and edit them for your online gallery to view.
• What if my child is ill on the day of the session, is it possible to reschedule?
Of course, having a poorly baby or child is not conducive to getting the best images! Therefore I am happy to reschedule your session to another date.
Please give me as much notice as possible. I do make it a rule however, that parents or children, (and that includes myself), that in the case of being ill I reschedule due to any possible infection in the studio. I would (and understandably so) be upset if an illness was passed on to a newborn or family.
• When do I get to view my images?!
My turnaround time is usually 2-3 weeks. I then send you an email with a link to view your gallery which will be live to view for a week, where you will also be able to choose your images.
• Will there be a 'hard-sell' after the session?
In a word, NO.
I provide an online gallery for clients to view in the comfort of their own home, rather than feeling the pressure to make a decision on the spot, had you need to come back to the studio to view your images.
Please do ensure you have the budget to purchase products from your gallery. I know that there is nothing worse that seeing all of your beautiful images and not be able to purchase them all should you wish to!
• I've purchased wall art, when do I expect to receive them?
Print products take 1-2 weeks, wall art such as wooden blocks, acrylic or framed art will take around 4-6 weeks.
